A lifetime in the media
Debbie Binner has spent a lifetime in the media – a place she loves! A former onscreen TV journalist and presenter, she has headed up newsrooms, worked on national newspapers and several national and international magazine titles. Debbie is an avid campaigner and spokesperson for a number of charities, and was a key voice in Lord Maurice Saatchi’s Medical Innovation Bill.
As a media consultant she has advised communications and media teams both in the public sector, for example the NHS and the Department for International Development, as well as the private sector in sports, music and professional services industries. Debbie was recently involved in the making of a BAFTA nominated documentary and has a strong interest in story telling. She is currently producing and directing a short film in support of an international campaign about cancer treatment.
A childhood actress and dancer, she is RADA trained in Public Speaking and draws on theatrical skills to enhance performances.
What can she offer me
That depends. For those comfortable in the spotlight Debbie gives you the skills and tools to shine on any stage and maybe release a little star quality.
For more reserved individuals she is highly skilled in boosting confidence, overcoming nerves to ensure that all can deliver a powerful credible performance.
Debbie loves ice skating, Ralph, her golden retriever, and being by the sea. She’s learning flamenco and teaches a type of yoga called Vinyassa Flow.
